For the last ten years, Executive Director & Founder Laramie Gorbett has been participating in the V-Day Austin movement, most recently in a production of "The Vagina Monologues" held at 29th Street Ballroom on March 9 & 10, 2012. Empower Art is proud to announce its inaugural Art in the Park event on April 21, 2012, at Bartholomew Park. Art in the Park is a free, family-friendly afternoon of interactive art activities, music, games, food and more. More information to come.

Join us for delectable eats, refreshing drinks, and fun, hip new to you clothing all while helping Empower Art and Hope for Children and Women Victims of Violence in Uganda.
