During the past year, we have worked to further our mission by hosting our first annual "Art in the Park" event - a free event that provides kids of all ages the opportunity to be creative and participate in art projects, and partnered with various organizations, including Safeplace, the Amala Foundation, the Trinity Center, Texas Network of Youth Services and Martin Middle School.    Proceeds from this year's event will support the missions of both Amala and Empower Art, with a portion used for a collaborative service project between the organizations. 

We are still looking for event sponsors, donors, and volunteers for this year's event. Our ability to further our mission is largely due to you and your generosity and participation in our previous benefits, so thank you and we hope to see you again this year!  Please feel free to invite others and spread the word!
